Ways We Can Work Together

In-Person Clinical Support

For individuals holding trauma, somatic blocks, or unresolved behavioural or emotional patterns

These are clinic-based sessions that draw on Clinical Hypnotherapy, Trauma Resolution,

and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) & Five Element Constitutional Acupuncture.

How These Are Supported (Without Medical Diagnosing)

  • Psychoeducation on trauma and the nervous system

  • Somatic awareness and regulation tools

  • Parts work, inner child integration, and shadow work

  • Hypnotherapy, visualisation, and guided reprocessing

  • Polyvagal-informed coaching

  • Trauma-talk-based sessions

  • Safe touch (if applicable), breathwork, or meridian-based techniques

Clinical work is open to both Men & Woman

Clinical sessions are booked and delivered on-site at Meridian Health Clinic Ltd, Auckland, offering a professional environment designed for comfort, focus, and optimal treatment outcomes.

I bring together a range of clinical and wellness tools to support change in the mind, body, and nervous system.

Depending on your goals, we may work with:

1. Clinical Hypnotherapy

As a qualified Professional Registered Clinical Hypnotherapist, I work with clients to support:

  • Nervous system regulation and emotional balance

  • Confidence, motivation, performance (study, sport, creative work)

  • Stress, phobias, low mood, and overwhelm

  • Patterns around food, sleep, habits, and subconscious blocks

  • Support for those navigating PTSD, pain, autoimmune reactivity, and anxiety

  • Inner child, parts work, and regression-style sessions

⚠️While many clients come with specific challenges or symptoms, my work is not framed as a replacement for medical or psychological treatment.

I offer hypnotherapy as part of a coaching and resilience-building model that complements other healthcare.

3. Integrated Traditional Chinese Medicine & Five Element Acupuncture

(Registered Acupuncture Practice | Cupping | Moxibustion | Electro-stimulation)

I am approved to practice acupuncture in New Zealand under the Chinese Medicine Council, providing regulated, safe, and professional care.

Using Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Five Element principles, my acupuncture work engages the body directly—regulating the nervous system, releasing tension, and restoring balance to the body’s energetic and physical systems.

Sessions are tailored to your presentation and goals, and may include:

- Fine, sterile acupuncture needles applied to targeted points

- Optional cupping therapy or moxibustion

- Electro-acupuncture where appropriate

- Touchpoint-based support for nervous system regulation, circulation, and emotional flow

Diagnosis & Approach

Assessment is made according to TCM principles, including pulse and tongue diagnosis, alongside a detailed understanding of your symptoms and overall presentation.

Rather than diagnosing medical conditions in a Western sense, this approach identifies patterns of imbalance within the body (such as Qi, Blood, Yin/Yang, and organ system relationships), which guide treatment.

Assessment & Pattern Diagnosis

Diagnosis is carried out according to Traditional Chinese Medicine principles, including:

- Pulse and tongue assessment

- Observation of posture, energy flow, and somatic patterns

- Identification of patterns of imbalance in Qi, Blood, Yin/Yang, and organ system relationships

This is not a Western medical diagnosis but a pattern-based clinical assessment guiding your individualised treatment plan.

Conditions & Patterns Acupuncture Supports

Acupuncture may be used to support a wide range of conditions, including:

  • Musculoskeletal pain and tension – back, neck, shoulders, injuries, repetitive strain, postural imbalances

  • Headaches and migraines – including tension and stress-related headaches

  • Stress and nervous system regulation – anxiety, overwhelm, burnout, and emotional dysregulation

  • Fatigue and sleep disturbances – including insomnia, poor recovery, and exhaustion

  • Digestive complaints – bloating, indigestion, constipation, IBS-related symptoms

  • Reproductive and hormonal balance – menstrual irregularities, menopausal symptoms, libido changes

  • Immune and inflammatory support – supporting overall resilience, allergies, recurrent infections

  • Respiratory support – mild asthma patterns, sinus congestion, seasonal sensitivities

  • Emotional and behavioural regulation – supporting mood swings, compulsive patterns, stress-related behaviours

  • Circulation and energy flow – improving vitality, peripheral circulation, and overall energetic balance

  • Somatic holding and body tension patterns – releasing trapped physical or emotional stress

  • Chronic conditions with pattern-based components – such as chronic pain or tension where the nervous system and Qi flow are involved

All treatments are applied with clinical intention, clear consent, and tailored to your individual presentation.

Integrated Approach

Acupuncture forms the “bottom-up” component of my practice, working directly with the body and nervous system to release tension, improve regulation, and restore balance.

It is often integrated with clinical hypnotherapy, trauma-informed coaching, and psycho-sensory methods, creating a holistic mind-body approach to recovery, regulation, and personal growth.

Important Note

Acupuncture is provided as a regulated healthcare modality. It may support a wide range of conditions, and is used alongside—rather than in place of—medical or mental health care where required.

What This Is Not

❌ I do not diagnose or treat medical conditions under a regulated health provider scope

❌ I do not offer Traditional Chinese Medicine or psychotherapy under NZ registration

❌ I do not replace or override your existing medical or mental health care

Instead, I work alongside these systems—supporting your resilience, regulation, and reconnection through mind-body-spirit integration.

Why Work With Me?

Because this isn’t JUST THERAPY. It’s DEEP, LASTING TRANSFORMATION.

Transformation lives where therapy often ends—in the space where you learn to lead yourself.

Hypnotherapy, when combined with trauma-informed coaching, somatic integration, and meridian-based techniques, becomes a powerful change process that reaches below the surface—into the nervous system, subconscious mind, and body-held patterns.

While I am not a psychotherapist in New Zealand, my work is grounded in clinical-level training and real-world results.

No formulas. No fixing. Just a space to evolve from coping into clarity—again and again as life evolves.

What Are The Steps Now To Get Started?

Feel uneasy discussing your issue? That’s not a problem. I offer various change work options, such as metaphors of movement and content-free hypnosis, allowing for personal transformation without discussing the specifics.

Prefer having someone with you? No problem. While there are some guidelines, you can bring a friend or partner along during the session.

Ready to make a change? Here’s how we can start your transformation journey:

Reach Out: Share the area of your life you’re ready to work on via the contact page.

Assessment: I’ll send you a tailored intake form to understand your goals and challenges.

Collaboration: In our sessions, I’ll create a personalized plan to help you achieve the change you seek, using techniques that fit your unique needs.

Take action today and start building the life you want.

Tools for Transformation:

The Modalities That Inform My Practice

Imagine you're building a house. You don’t need to know every tool the contractor uses—you just want to know they’re equipped to build something strong and lasting.

In the same way, I draw from a wide range of tools to support your growth and self-leadership. My approach is grounded in coaching and hypnotic frameworks, enhanced by body-mind methods that I've trained in or studied extensively.

These may include:

  • Psycho-sensory and Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR) informed by sensorimotor, somatic practices and polyvagal theory

  • Energy awareness and meridian-based tools inspired by traditional Eastern wellness models (non-acupuncture)

  • Hypnotherapy techniques, including Ericksonian and solution-focused approaches

  • Cognitive-behavioural frameworks, including Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) - (as coaching-based models)

  • Mindfulness, shadow work, and internal parts integration inspired by Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Jungian theory

  • Relationship, attachment trauma and intimacy models (non-therapeutic, integrative framework)

I am training Informed and/or have specific certifications in these areas.

Coaching and clinical work provided through Awakened Being Coach and the Awakened Being Clinic is not a substitute for registered psychotherapy, medical treatment, or mental health services.

Where appropriate, referrals may be suggested if a client’s needs fall outside the scope of practice.
